I love the Peace Tree of Life Tshirts by WrenWillow.

Its subtle but impacting.  Her vintage soft tees are hand dyed and screen printed with environmentally friendly dyes.  She has tons of other cute designs in her shop too!

Why Do I Have To Leave This Bliss and Go To Class?

Seriously? Who would want to go to class when they could lay under these trees with their honey instead?

It was a bit breezy and occasionally a big gust would come through making the trees snow on us with their white petals, but they never looked like they shed any!

Sadly, I did have to leave and skip to class, but the short time we had just chilling with each other under those trees was worth it :)

Where do you park your vehicle? Where do you see the prettiest fall colors? Please share, links to photos also appreciated! :D

Ahh

'Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.' - Warren Buffet

I love trees. Especially the big leafy ones, the leaves bring fresh green, sometimes flowers in the spring, provide lush joy through the summer and paint the ground with awesome colors in the fall. Even in the winter the trees can look so magnificent and gorgeous. I want to enjoy trees for decades to come, and I want the next generations to enjoy them as well. So please go plant a tree :) any kind of tree!

Small Tree

Can anyone tell me what this is?
If your answer was small avocado tree you were right! A while back Matt had gone to California and brought home fresh from the tree avocados, many of them started sprouting before we even got to eat the avocados but this little guy we saved and put in some water and he has clearly taken off. Wow that was a long run-on sentence. But anyways, this little tree is now about 1o inches tall and a friend thinks his roots look like some kind of space squid hehe, I think that means its time to put him in the dirt and see what happens, what do you think?

In other news, my beloved camera has bitten the dust and I am now simply waiting for another one to show up in the mail sometime soon. Hopefully this week?

Little Tree

My little tree from sevenacrewoods sprouted! It sprouted! There's a little sprout! Lookie lookie!

Isn't it so exciting? I haven't killed it yet! I planted it in a leftover planter we had that had previously served as a coffin for some tomato sprouts and now it sits proudly on one of our two stools near the window. Who needs to sit comfortably when there is a plant to grow?

I'd really like to upgrade it to a beautiful pot from Etsy, but until I can afford it (and the tree gets a little bigger) I'll just have to drool over these I found browsing and daydreaming about the day my little tree gives fruit:
