The lovely LylianMae spun up some gorgeous gorgeous yarn specifically for this project and she'll have kits available for purchase that will include one or both patterns and the required amounts of yarn, how cool is that? She is definitely one of the nicest ladies to work with and I sincerely appreciate all of her help!

Is This The Beginning?

Swimming through the items available on Etsy can be inspiring, uplifting, and exhausting. Getting found can be even more of a trip! I listed my first items on Etsy May 31, 2008 and it seems that, as of late, I have been seeing a bit of a rise in my "notice-ability" (if you count that as a word).

Just last week my Long Eared Beanie with Pom-poms was included, briefly, in this Storque Post.

And I found out from the lovely shop carolinascreations that my Lacy Green Slouchy Beanie was even featured on the front page this weekend!

This is the first time that I have been featured in any way on the Storque and my first time on the front page as well. My sales have slowly started picking up and I am convinced that if I had more time to dedicate to my shop that it would flourish even further. Granted, school takes precedence right now, but this gives me hopes that once I'm done I can take my shop further and further! This could be the beginning of my dreams coming true :D

I foresee much more hard work, sweat and tears. I certainly don't expect this ride to come easily, but I am excited to be on it, and I am excited to share it with all of you, so that none of us feel that we are in this by ourselves.

Just listed...oh wait...just sold

I listed this green hat yesterday and was going through my routine of showing it to my Facebook Fans and Friends, Twitter, etc and by the time I blinked (well, almost that quick) it was sold! And the pictures don't even do it justice!

Luckily I have enough yarn to make another so if you missed your chance at this great slouchy beanie, there's another one coming! And I can always make them in colors of your choice too ;)

I have been working on a lot of custom orders lately but have had some time to squeeze in new items for the shop.

This Scrappy Beret made it in recently:I think its awesome, so colorful and unique, and super warm too! It is a one of a kind, there won't be anymore exactly like it EVER!

I have a few hats that haven't made it to the shop yet because now that I ordered my mannequin head, I would like to start taking pictures of them on it! So I have to wait till it comes in the ever-so-slow-except-for-bills mail. Here's a sneak peak :)

Red Lace Slouchy Beanie

Recently a friend asked if I could make her a red slouchy version of my Golden Yellow Lace Hat. Here is the finished product! If you would like your own, don't hesitate to contact me, I can make them in any color and style you like :D

I finished the slouchy beanie I was making for myself with the Baby Alpaca from my first swap package (can I say Thank You enough oh spoiler?)

Anyways, here it is, and I love it and I haven't taken it off since I finished it except for sleeping and showers :)

Rasta Slouchy Beret

So I finally listed one of my new items, a slouchy rasta beret! Wonderful depth to hold your dreds, and amazing stretching ability to accommodate just about any head size, this beret was really fun to knit up!
