Starr over at A Thought Is The Blossom is headed to NYC Fashion week this weekend and is marking down all of her inventory to help fuel her trip! She is also selling some modern pieces over on her other blog and all I can say is that I wish I fit into these clothes, they are so freaking cute!
So head on over to her shop or shop her closet here and pick up some cute little pieces for yourself at a great price :)

After My Morning Shower...
aftershowershop was suggested to me by Etsy the other day and I am completely smitten! I love all of their cute and airy looks, especially in this summer heat.
Such cute little details and easy-to-wear colors and shapes! The Sweet Thursday Dress is everything I want in a dress.
The Two Tone Part II dress would be a flawless option to throw on before leaving the house for any excuse; grocery shopping? no problem! dinner date? of course! Maybe finish it off with an array of belts to switch up the look.
The long Waterfall dress is perfect. I've been looking for a long dress all summer, to no avail. I only wish I had seen this beautiful outfit earlier!

Custarddiary
This shop has been in my Favorites for a while and for obvious reason!
The photos are phenomenal, so inviting, so colorful and the detail shots are fantastic. And the clothes are too cute and so very functional.
I can't wait to add one of their dresses to my collection. I would live in sundresses in the summer if I could!
What's your favorite outfit, theme or color for summer?

Come on Spring
I want to be able to wear tops like these from crystalindumentaria:
I love the low backs, the easy shapes, the sexy little somethin' somethin' in each of her pieces.

ShainaMote
I just wanted to share this shop with you, I think it is lovely and clearly very well thought-out.
It seems that everything about ShainaMote has so much thought and energy behind it, the clothes are gorgeous, the fabrics are beautiful and the photographs! Oh the photographs.

The artist has a clear view of what type of feeling she wants to convey to her shoppers. She styles the photographs brilliantly and has just enough background interest to keep your attention but not to detract from the piece being highlighted.

Now I need to learn how to do that with my photos and my not-quite-so-brilliant camera...

These Clothes Speak Relaxing Melodies in My Ear
I love the shirts, I love the dresses, the skirts, the pants!
They are relaxed and loose fitting while still remaining a bit sultry and sexy.
Its so hard for me not grab up everything in the shop!

Vintage Lovliness
I don't know if you've seen the shop brownbagvintage, but I adore it. All of the items are so chic and easily modernizable (its a word, promise).
Perfect for the coming family get-togethers, this sweater is right on the current styles, with a kind of stripey-classic-very-vintage pattern the color says cozy holidays.
And we all know how I love a good coat. The color on this one is absolutely to-die-for. Go scoop it up before I get to it first!
The pop of color on your feet when you wear these will definitely show that you desire comfort as well as a cute shoe. If its too cold to wear them where you live right now, why not plan ahead for next spring?
As if all of these amazing items weren't enough, brownbagvintage has a great deal going on right now since she will be moving across the country! Free domestic shipping and half-price international shipping, but only until November 11, so get your items now!

Putting Together a Professional Look
Bored with having to look professional? Think that its impossible to be stylish, show your personal taste and yet still be taken seriously in the business environment? I've put together a few looks to help you achieve just that.
First look:
Pants are typically easier to wear than the business skirt and these wide leg trousers from refinerydesigns is the perfect basic staple to start your outfit.

They can be easily worn with a variety of tops to give them an equal variety of looks. This bright red blouse from Thrush would tuck perfectly into the high waist and show that you have spunk and style.
Finish off the look with these classic black pumps from nerdybird

Maybe add a contrasting wood bangle from inbloomdesigns, and you're good to go!
Second Look:
This time we'll start with a skirt suit from DressUpDollVintage. Adorable on its own, no?

That's why we should keep the blouse simple and classic, like this crisp white one from LittleWhiteDresser.
Keep the shoes with a smaller heel but a burst of color, these red ones from TheRubyKitten would work at work. You could still walk around without your feet screaming at you and you would feel oh-so-stylish.
And classic jewelry like a large pearl ring from beatomicbeauty or pearl necklace from ruthkim will complete this look
